Hello

I must say that this has been the strangest few months of my life. I will always remember 2007 as the year that I started doing things that I actually wanted to do. I had become so accustomed to doing what everyone else wanted to do that I wasn’t sure who I was anymore. I quit trying to “find” myself I started defining myself. So far I’m pretty pleased with my choices; I’m just finding the balance now.

I have been reminded how precious life is with the death of some people that are very dear to my heart. I hope that everyone knows how much they mean to me. I have so many awesome people in my life and I really couldn’t be happier. I have been sick for the past few months and I’m ready to be well again.

Last week I was miserable with the flu and Matt ended up getting it too. We were both a mess. The kids have been spared so far. Savannah did get sick yesterday after the dentist but I think it was from the cleaning because it didn’t slow her down for long.

We are all pretty excited because were going to Disney for 4 days in April!! Luke and I have March b-days and Nana’s is in April. It’s all three of our birthdays rolled into one. I haven’t been since I was 3 and Nana hasn’t ever been. We are staying on Disney property too!! The kids and I have been singing “were going to Disney”!!

When the kids are away.....

Mommy and daddy will play! Matt and I had a awesome weekend together. I have come down with a nasty cold today so this will be short.
The weekend involved eating out, staying up late, sleeping in, peace & quiet, a party, and getting tattoo's!! I got a ladybug on my left leg a couple inches above my ankle. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'll post pictures very soon.
Happy President's Day & Happy 85th Birthday Grandma!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!!
Happy 10th Anniversary Matt!!

Luke wrote a really sweet poem about Savannah. It's way too cute not to share with everyone. Matt and I are looking foward to a weekend without kids. The kid's are going to Grandma Donna & Uncle Ralph's in the country. We hope to get in a round of golf and eat out. It will be nice to be able to relax with my husband.

Luke's poem:

So much depends
upon my little sister
who's like a
little red rose
blooming
in the sun
and has a
sweet and big heart.

How cute is that?!

update

I got a call from my doctor about my x-rays. They were all ok so she is sending me to a Neurologist. The pain is just about gone now, so I’m happy about that. I’m still having numbness in my neck and a little in my spine. Not sure what that is but hopefully I’ll find out. I have to wait until the 29th for an appointment.

I am feeling better already after a week on the thyroid pills and B-12 shot yesterday. Matt gave me the shot yesterday, and he did better than some nurses.

It's the new crack!!

Unless you live under a rock, you've heard of the Wii video game system. We got one for the boy's for Christmas but we gave it them in November. Daddy just couldn't wait until Christmas. I compare it to crack because of it's addictive nature and it leaves you wanting more. So you spend way too much money on games, more controler's, fancy controler's, Guitar Hero 3, etc. It really is fun to watch and play. I'm not good at video games so I mostly watch, but I do enjoy the bowling. The kids love it!!
Luke is very competive and a very poor sport. He hates to lose and will just fall apart, tears and all. But when he wins, he really goes crazy. We are trying to teach him to be a good winner/loser but he's stuborn. He's really good at just about every game and loves the racing games. He also loves to make the Mii's for everyone. The Mii's are little characters that you make look like youself and you use them to play. We have quite a few Mii's!! Everyone that comes over gets to make their own Mii to use.
Austin loves the Guitar Hero 3 that we just got, and he's really good at it. He has excellent sportsmenship too. He's not as into the Wii as Luke but he does love it. He's awesome at the boxing and holds lots of records. We haven't really let Nana play much because she's only 3. We can just hand her a controler that's off and she thinks she's playing. She loves it when someone else uses her Mii so she can cheer. I think Matt enjoys the Wii the most. He's good at just about everything he does and he wins most of the time. We've had so much fun as a family playing it. We always play with our guests too. They seem to enjoy it as much as we do.
Here are a few pictures of some Wii-tards.

Update on me

I went to my doctor's office today to get results from blood work that I had done a couple weeks ago. My neck is really bothering me too. I'm going for some x-rays on Thursday to take a peck at the bones. I can deal with some pain but I'm having numbness in my neck and down my spine. I'm sure I just pulled something.
My blood work showed that I do a thryoid issue and my vitamin B-12 is too low also. I've been getting B-12 shots for a couple years but it's still to low. I have to do it once a week for a couple months and recheck the level after that. I decided to do the shots here at home so I don't have to go back to her office all the time. The thryoid is not producing enough hormone. It' sno wonder I've been feeling so tired!! I'm excited to have some answers and hopefully easy solutions.
Thanks for checking on me. Today is the 4th Anniversary of Katia's Transplant; her second chance at life.

My little sunshine

Here are a few pictures of Miss Savannah being cute with Hummer. They get along so well together. The last picture was from a couple weeks ago when she had piggy tails. She's doesn't really like to have her hair messed with so the piggy tails were a big deal.
