Daytona 500 Experience

I had such a wonderful birthday week this year!! We do weeks instead of days in our house. We usually end up giving gifts early too. So to start the week off I got a new tattoo on my left wrist!

So this year we went to Daytona Beach to celebrate mine and Luke's birthday's. Mine was the 13th and Luke's is the 22nd. We headed over to Daytona International Speedway last Saturday afternoon and went to the Daytona 500 Experience.
We saw a  NASCAR movie in the IMAX theater then went for a tour around the track.
This was our ride!

Savannah loves helping out with Dylan.
He loves getting love from Savannah!
He was making presents for me!

He's always so happy!!
We have so much fun together!!

Savannah & Luke's report cards!

These are pictures from Outback night at Perkins Elementary. Savannah and her class sang two cute songs and we had yummy food from Outback Steakhouse. Once a year a local Outback donates a couple hundred meals for a fundraiser for the magnet program at school. We had a great evening!
Here is what Savannah's teacher had to say about her on her most recent report card:
Savannah, sweet as a cupcake, continues to amaze me with her art work. She is working hard on learning the sounds of the letters and the sight words. Please practice these at home, as well as, jumping rope. Keep up the good work.

Luke got all A's once again! We are so proud of him and all his hard work. Here is what his teacher had to say about him:
Luke continues to excell in both academic and behavioral areas. He always puts forth maximum effort, whether working independently, with a partner, or in a group. Luke's critical thinking skills are strongand he often makes connections between content areas. Responsible, respectful, and kind, Luke is a pleasure to have in class. Congratulations on another outstanding report card, Luke!
